PLAINSBORO -- A school bus ran a red traffic light Tuesday afternoon, causing five people -- including three juveniles -- to be hospitalized, police said.
Around 2 p.m., a school bus traveling eastbound on Plainsboro Road ran the red light at the intersection of Plainsboro and George Davison roads, striking a four-door sedan making a left turn, according to Lt. John Bresnen, of the Plainsboro Police Department.
Three juveniles on the bus were taken to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro with complaints of pain, Bresnen said. The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. The passenger of the sedan also suffered minor injuries and was taken to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.
No charges have been filed at this time, Bresnen said. The crash remains under investigation.
Police have not yet released the identities the occupants of the sedan or the driver of the school bus.
