New Brunswick Police are investigating an assault on a person "affiliated with Rutgers University," early Friday morning, at the intersection of Easton Avenue and Mine Street, according to the Rutgers Police Department.
NEW BRUNSWICK -- Police are investigating an assault on a person "affiliated with Rutgers University," early Friday morning, at the intersection of Easton Avenue and Mine Street, according to the Rutgers Police Department.
The person told New Brunswick police he was struck once in the face with a closed fist in the incident about 2:10 a.m., according to an alert published by the Rutgers Police Department.
The alert said the attacker took off and the victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
The alert said anyone with information about the attack is asked to call the New Brunswick police Detective Bureau at (732) 745-5217.
