Northeat Corridor trains are running up to 45 minutes behind schedule
Just as the morning rush concluded, NJ Transit trains have been hit with delays.
An Amtrak signal problem on the Northeast Corridor line near the Metropark station in Woodbridge is causing westbound trains to be delayed by 45 minutes, NJ Transit said.
Eastbound passengers will arrive at their destinations 15 minutes behind schedule.
Westbound passengers headed to Metropark should continue to Metuchen and then board an eastbound train back to Metropark.
UPDATE 1: NEC westbound trains are bypassing Metro Park station until further notice due to an Amtrak signal problem near Metro Park.
