According to middlesexcountyfair.com, the Middlesex County Fair Association was founded in 1938 by the Milltown Grange as a successor to the Flower and Crop Show.
The fair was first held at the current fairgrounds on Cranbury Road in 1965. This year, the event was held from Aug. 1 to 7.
