The turnpike's left outer lane and right inner lane remain closed
CRANBURY -- A box truck overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike Tuesday morning, sending two people to the hospital and delaying traffic during the commute.
The crash happened at 8:41 a.m. near mile marker 69 between exits 8 and 8A. State Police spokesman Capt. Stephen Jones said the box truck overturned in the southbound lane after hitting the left guard rail.
The driver and passenger were taken to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro with minor injuries, Jones said. No other vehicles were involved.
The turnpike's left outer lane and right inner lane remain closed while debris is being cleared.
