New Brunswick Avenue is closed at border of Woodbridge and Perth Amboy as of 6:25 a.m.
PERTH AMBOY - A car crash in Woodbridge led to what police described as a brief, but widespread power outage in Perth Amboy on Thursday.
Though power was restored by 6:15 a.m., a crash an hour earlier on New Brunswick Avenue knocked out several traffic lights, authorities said.
As of 6:20 a.m. all westbound lanes of New Brunswick Avenue remain closed at Florida Grove Road at the city's border with Woodbridge.
Details on the crash were not immediately available.
