The fire at a Lincoln Avenue residence in Edison was "non-suspicious," police said.
EDISON -- A man was taken to a local hospital with smoke inhalation following a fire at a Lincoln Avenue residence on Saturday afternoon, said Edison police Lt. Matthew Bekiarian Sunday morning.
Bekiarian said the fire was "non-suspicious."

At approximately 1 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a fire at 26 Lincoln Avenue, Berkiarian said. The fire started in a bedroom, he said. The extent of damage to the home and the cause of the blaze weren't immediately available, he said.
Fire officials will release more details on Monday, he said.
