HAMILTON -- Sheriff's officers visiting home on a routine civil matter Monday saw marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain sight and started an investigation, which led to four arrests and the seizure of weapons and drugs.

The searches - which included a safe in the basement - led officers to the following: two shotguns, four rifles, a crossbow, 2.5 grams of crack cocaine, 88.5 grams of marijuana, 21.5 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 48 Xanax sticks, 74 Ecstasy pills and $4,741 in cash.
