PERTH AMBOY -- State and local authorities are searching the Raritan River in the city for a possible person in the water, officials said.
State Police are assisting Perth Amboy police in the search under the Victory Bridge, which spans the river as Route 35, Sgt. Jeff Flynn said.
No further details have been made available.
Calls to Perth Amboy police were not immediately returned.
