The victim in Old Bridge overdosed in December
HAMILTON -- A 58-year-old Mays Landing man was arrested last week and charged with mailing heroin to a person who overdosed on the drug in December in Old Bridge, police said.
Anthony Bertolino Old Bridge police responded to a reported overdose on Dec. 22, police in Hamilton, Atlantic County said in a news release.
After a three-month investigation with officers in Old Bridge, Hamilton police arrested Antony Bertolino on March 27 and charged him with third-degree heroin distribution.
Old Bridge police recovered evidence linking Bertolini to the heroin, Hamilton police said.
