SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- A local women accused of using a spa in town as a front for prostitution has been indicted, court records show.
Ying Wen Mina, 49, of North Brunswick, was arrested in November of last year when South Brunswick police raided the Asian Pearly Spa on Route 130, according to authorities.
Police seized $823 in cash, a 2010 Lexus, a flat screen television and office items, authorities said at the time. Officials said the raid was the result of a three-month investigation by local and federal authorities.
Mina was indicted by a grand jury in Middlesex County Superior Court last Thursday on one count of promoting prostitution, court records show.
Li Zhang, 47, of New York City, was also arrested during the raid. The status of her case in municipal court was not known.
