ABERDEEN -- A Middlesex County man was charged with DWI and reckless driving after police say he crashed into a parked car and fled the scene on Friday.
Francisco C. DeOliveira, 39, of Middlesex Borough, was driving a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder at around 6:20 p.m. on Sherwood Drive when he struck a parked car, Aberdeen police said in a news release.
A witness gave Officer Jessica McDougall a description of DeOliveira's vehicle, and she was able to locate his vehicle on West Concourse.
DeOliveira was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, failure to report a crash and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test after the crash, police said.
He was released pending a municipal court appearance.
