What began as a "road rage" incident Friday night progressed to a fight in the parking lot of the Shoppes of North Brunswick and led to one person injured and one man arrested, according to police.
NORTH BRUNSWICK -- What began as a "road rage" incident Friday night progressed to a fight in the parking lot of the Shoppes of North Brunswick and led to one person injured and one man arrested, according to police.
Police said the incident began at 8:51 p.m. at the intersection of Route 130 north and Carolier Lane and "progressed" onto the shopping center's property, eventually leading to the fight.
"During this fight, one of the parties slashed the victim multiple times," according to a press release issued by North Brunswick police.

Police said the victim, who was not identified, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities said detectives arrested Bryan Groves, 29, of East Brunswick, who allegedly ran away before police arrived, but was identified and located hours later. He was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
Groves was in the Middlesex County jail Monday afternoon in lieu of $35,000 bail.
