NORTH BRUNSWICK -- The Red Cross is helping the 21 people displaced Tuesday after a morning blaze tore through eight units in an apartment complex.

A woman and her baby were taken to a nearby hospital after the mother was forced to leap from her balcony at the Willowbrook Apartments. The fire was reported just after 8 a.m. and put out by 10.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
