Township adds five officers

Woodbridge Township Mayor John E. McCormac and police director Robert Hubner announced the appointment of five new police officers at a swearing-in ceremony on Dec. 18.

WOODBRIDGE -- Woodbridge Township Mayor John E. McCormac and police director Robert Hubner announced the appointment of five new police officers at a swearing-in ceremony on Dec. 18.

The new police officers are Nicholas Errico of Woodbridge, Christopher Esteves of Avenel, Joseph Russyk of Iselin, Michael Hart of Iselin, and Matthew Dougherty of Colonia.

Each officer completed the state-mandated six-month police training program at the Monmouth County Police Training Academy and will immediately take patrol assignments.
