SOUTH BRUNSWICK -- A car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike northbound on Tuesday afternoon sent a forklift flying from the highway onto a local road.
A photograph from the South Brunswick Police Department showed the equipment that once was traveling on the Turnpike landed up against a fence on Ridge Road, which runs above the highway.
The crash tied up traffic but did not injure anyone, according to State Police. Engineers are on their way to inspect the bridge, said Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams.
Ridge Road and the Turnpike are both back open to traffic.
