MIDDLESEX BOROUGH -- Middlesex Borough police are looking for the burglars who broke into a woman's home on Starlit Drive early Tuesday morning while she slept and escaped with her car and an undetermined amount of jewelry.

Police said the woman awakened shortly before 3:42 a.m. to find two men standing over her as she lay in bed in her second floor bedroom. She was not harmed or threatened and the men never showed weapons, police said.

The burglars got into the home by smashing a window on the rear of the home, police said.
