A Virginia man is in the Middlesex County jail facing weapons and other charges stemming from a fight Friday night at the Farrington Inn in North Brunswick.
NORTH BRUNSWICK -- A Virginia man is in the Middlesex County jail facing weapons and other charges stemming from a fight Friday night at the Farrington Inn in North Brunswick.
Police said Curtis Wright Jr., 22, was arrested after officers were called to the restaurant on Route 130 Friday evening, Jan. 8.
Several witnesses told the first officer who arrived that one of the people involved in the fight had a gun, police said. As the officer approached the individual, the person fled and attempted to hide, but was found and arrested, according to police who said the gun was also found.
Police said one female was injured during the fight and was treated at the scene by the North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad Inc.
Police did not say what caused the fight.
Authorities identified the man arrested as Curtis Wright Jr., 22, of Newport News, Va. He was charged with several weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon and is being held in the county jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail.
