NEW BRUNSWICK -- A Bridgewater teenager pleaded not guilty Tuesday afternoon to the murder of a 23-year-old woman in a New Brunswick apartment in May.
Steven Altman entered the plea on behalf of his client, Jason Molina, 17, who sat quietly, flanked by Altman and Altman's son, attorney Joshua Altman.
Middlesex County Assistant Prosecutor Lisa Walsh represented the state.
The family of the young woman, Christine Huh, who was stabbed to death May 10, 2015, in an apartment in Sky Line Towers on Paterson Street, sat quietly in the courtroom as Superior Court Judge Dennis Nieves entered Molina's not guilty pleas to murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Molina, who is being tried as an adult, was indicted earlier this month.
Huh was the daughter of Bong Kee Huh, senior pastor at Praise Presbyterian Church in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.

She was a 2014 graduate of Rutgers University and was visiting friends at the apartment building when she was killed.
Police were called to the apartment in the early morning hours where they found Huh, who had been stabbed. She was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick where she was pronounced dead at 3:50 a.m.
Molina is being held in the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center in North Brunswick in lieu of $1 million bail.
